I had forgoten that I am eligible (<- correct spelling - I looked it up as my memory is not what it once was) for Saga.

Quote from: "DreamcastRIP"* Lynx - cool and sophisticated name, evokes image of cat-like speed which was appropriate given that it took 12 years for a higher spec' dedicated handheld to appear, smart because the Lynx links to other Lynx consoles

I absolutely agree with your comment regarding the Lynx but that must also go for the Jaguar which was not only two years ahead of the Playstation but had networking capabilities (peer-to-peer and Internet compatible). Of course the Lynx was way ahead of the competition spec wise and as I maintain, Atari made great consoles and computers but didn't support them properly else history may have been very different.
For the record, Alien verses Predator on the Atari Jaguar holds a Guinness World Record!

Another one for the WTF pile, I guess they were trying to rip off the WonderSwan:

Shadowrunner

Mega Duck! Love it :24:

Re: the Mega Duck,

Wikipedia states,
QuoteIn South America (mainly in Brazil), the Chinese-made Creatronic version was distributed by Cougar USA, also known as "Cougar Electronic Organization [sic]", and sold as the "Cougar Boy".

Yeah and the utter hypocrisy that these anus brains showed by slobbering all over the N 60 Whore when it was released. I bought this machine and bought 2 games for it and have not used it since....lesson boys and girls...when a company does not appeal to you
in the past, the likely hood of that changing is not very likely at all...This console certainly
proved that for me.

My favorite console name was the Astrocade...sounds like a space age arcade!
I then like Magnavox Oddessy....also kind space age sounding, Coleco Telstar
Arcade which also had that space age air about it.

Was quite a machine for it's time too.

Wow, some great blasts from the past. Not quite sure if I should say thanks to Laird for the Mega Duck though ;)
