I always thought (and still do) that the Commodore 16 was the best looking home computer.  Being a Vic20 & C64 owner at the time it was released I was already a fan of the style but the black look did it for me.

A close second was the Acorn Electron.

Worst for me was the Amstrad CPC - just think it looks a blo*dy mess ;)

Commodore 16?  :o The Plus 4 maybe but none of them compare to these beautiful computers:

The mattel aquarius was butt ugly.

i always thought the zx81 was lovely looking - seamless

I have never seen an Oric Atmos in the flesh but it always looks rather smart in pictures:

But I have seen an Acorn A3010 in the flesh and it is definitely a favourite of mine:

Original Spectrum is a winner.
I think the ST looks bad as did the original 400/800.
In fact Atari's computers all look pretty poor with the exception of this

Maybe I have a thing for rubber keys but I always liked the look of this

Just the look of it though!  :)

+1 to that. :)

My second choice for best-looking computer ever would probably be...

i really love the variety of the early micros - the PC box/monitor/keyboard really killed off interesting looking computers.  Remember the Elan with its little built in joystick - funny stuff

I was actually going to say that machine myself!!!

It does look incredibly cool!

I disagree! Those garishly coloured keys lend it a touch of the Amstrad CPC464s... which is never a good thing! ;D
