I have one and I really like it.  (better than the Gizmondo :D)

The official games library is ok, but I was surprised how many great games were available for PalmOS. Early touch screen gaming with lots of predecessors to the best iPod genres. Unique touch screen puzzle games, RTS, and others.

If you're exploring obscure handhelds I'd start with the NGPC or N-Gage, but the Zodiac is worth a cheap buy too.

I may look for a bargain then bud cheers..

I have both the NGPC and N-Gage.. 8)

Not that obscure though really. Although that depends on where you live.

TL

Yeah, stuff like the Supervision and Gamate are far more obscure.

zapiy

They are on the list..  ;)

Yeah, obscure was the wrong word... 'alternative' would have been better.

Is there anything that's worth playing on the Supervision or Gamate? I always assumed their libraries were a bunch of poorly written clones of popular games?

TL

I played a couple of game on the UK version of the Gamate, distributed by Cheetah who were famous for making joysticks, when it first came out and they seemed ok but it was a very long time ago. All I remember is that one was a tank game and the other was some sort of adventure game.

I am pretty sure Dubchaser owns both machines so he is the man to ask!

Still not managed to get one of these yet.
