Happy birthday Pet.  Sadly, whilst I am a fan of Commodore, having owned a C64 and Amiga, I have never had the chance to use this machine.

When I was a kid a friend of mine gave me this early Sharp laptop that was actually based on the Commodore Pet. I programmed loads of simple games on it and save them onto the tiny internal hard drive. Then one day it just stopped working, I was gutted

The Commodore Pet was the first school computer I tried in the 3rd year of secondary school.
