I'm not familiar with Slam Racer.  When was that released?

Laird can probably verify this but I don't think it ever was released. I have a demo disc from the guys who made Battlesphere that has Slam Racer on it. There's no sound and it's very difficult with the pillars that keep popping up in the middle of the road but it's fun for a few minutes.

Cool.  Well you know much more about it than I do!  :)

It was shown to Atari as a demo and it was what got Sinister Developments their NDA and dev system from what Gordon said a few years back. It was never finished though, shame because it's my kind of game.

it came with Battlesphere but there is a CD image of it too that you can just download and burn yourself.

Now we know the whole story  :3:

Slam Racer looks fun but also looks like homebrew.

I love a bit of RC Pro AM.

Enduro for VCS is the king of all racers for me. Too many great memories with that one.

Unfortunately, Intellivision is lacking on racers. Too bad no one has done an Enduro version for the good old INTV to date.

My favorite racer these days is probably any of the Ridge Racer series on original PSX console. Those games are pure racing bliss.

Here are some racing games for the ColecoVision!

Turbo

Dukes of Hazzard

I remember spending a lot of time playing Enduro on my 2600 to get the patch!  I still have the patch to this day!  :)

Dukes of Hazzard on CV is pretty rudimentary to say the least. It definitely would have benefited from voice. I can hear Roscoe P. Coaltrain going, 'Coo, Coo, Coo,' as his police cruiser appears in your rear view mirror.

Has anyone played any of the Dukes of Hazzard games on PSX or PS2?

TrekMD

The only Dukes of Hazzard game I've ever played is the 2600 version which is nothing like the ColecoVision version.

I have The Dukes of Hazzard: Racing for Home on the Playstation.

I would not recommend it unless a you are a Dukes fan. Even then do not expect much. Trying to shoot your bow from the General Lee can be tough. The driving can be even tougher.

This wonderful Lynx game needs to be here:

OK, let's get this thread moving again.  Here is Grand Prix/Demolition Derby 2014 for the Bally Astrocade!
