3DO Controller Extension Cable

I've been looking for one of these for a long long time! I'm actually starting to think it's just a myth that they made these as I'm pretty sure you would have an easier time finding Bigfoot then one of these.
I read somewhere that a FM Towns Marty extension cable would work but finding one of those is equally impossible so I gave up on that idea as well.
Read some more and found out that a MD/Genesis cable would work but because of the size of the moulding you would need to take a knife and trim the plastic a bit to get it to fit. Looked on Ebay and found out that the company that makes those Retron systems also makes brand new controller extension cables so I bought one for 10 bucks and gave it a shot.
I'm happy to report that it works and also because this isn't the official Sega branded one it's a bit smaller and no modification needed. It's a very tight fit but it does fit and works great

Those short controller leads and the daisy chaining required for multiple players was a shocking idea, did they even test it out?

Yeah the daisy chaining idea was pretty bad. Only good thing about that was if you were playing a 2 player game with someone you could pull the controller out of their hand
