Many of us are gamers and we also have collections of sort. In those collections we have absolute favourites and often end up with duplicate items on different formats or regions. Which ones do you have?

For me..

Chrono Trigger (DS,SNES,PS1)
Zelda LttP (SNES, GBA)
Yoshi's Island (GBA,SFC)
Valkyrie Profile (PS1, PSP)
Castlevania SotN (PS1, PSP)
Persona 3 (PS2, PSP)
Stunt Race FX (USA, JP!)
Doom (SNES,PS1)
Zelda Twilight Princess (GC,Wii)
Resident Evil 4 (Wii, PS2)
Resident Evil 2 (GC, PS1)
Resident Evil 3 (GC, PS1)
Final Fantasy 1-2 (PSP, PS1)
Final Fantasy IV (PSP,PS1)
Star Ocean 2 (PSP, PS1)
Tokyo Highway 2 (PS2, DC)
Final Fantasy VI (SNES, PS1)

Looking at this lot I should really get rid of a couple. Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI are both better on SNES and DS than PS1 but I have owned the PS1 versions since new and can't bring myself to sell up!

Anyone else?

Rogue Trooper

Good shout (it's not just games though :-) i own films on VHS, DVD, UMD and HD DVD in some cases, stopped short of Blu ray versions of same film).

Off the top of my head:

Silent Hill 2 (PS2, Xbox and had HD ver on PS3, but since got shot of).

The Getaway (PS2-Inital release with B.T Logo on vans etc and later version with them removed).

The Warriors (PSP+Xbox-could'nt get on with Ang.nub on PSP ver, so bought again on Xbox).

GTA3+VC (PS2+Xbox, giving PS2 versions away though).

Ful Auto 2 (PSP+PS3).

Quake 3 (PS2+DC)

Batman:A.A (PS3+360)

Sega MD Collection (PSP, PS2) plus Ult.MD Collection on PS3

MGS:Peace walker (PSP)+MGS3:Snake Eater (PS2)-BOTH on HD Collection on PS3.

Powerstone 1+2 (DC, PSP)

Wipeout Pulse (PS2+PSP)

Gun (Xbox+PSP)

Got the same Capcom arcade games on various retro comps on (PSone, PS2, Xbox+PSP)

Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo (PSP, PS3-via PSN, GBA+PSone)

Starwars:Battle Front games (PSP, PS2+Xbox)

Midway Retro Comps (PSP+Xbox)

Taito Retro Comps (PSP/Xbox)

Silent Hill:Origins (PSP+PS2)

Silent Hill:S.M (PS2+PSP)

Bubble Bobble (GBA+PSP-just IMPORTED Jap version of Tatio Memories pocket just for this)

Under Defeat (DC+PS3)

Resident Evil 4 (.C +PS3)

Res.Evil:Code Vern (DC+PS3)

Res.Evil 2 (DC+GC)

Res.Evil 3 (DC+GC)

Skies Of Arcadia (DC+GC)

Space Channel 5 (PS2/DC)

Burnout:revenge (Xbox+360)

The Darkness (PS3+360)

Oddworld:S.W (Xbox/PS3)

Metal Slug (various games on Xbox, PSP+GBA etc)

Max Payne (PS2/Xbox)

God of War 1 (PS2/PS3)

MDK 2 (PS2/DC)

Think that's it and you know what? looking at that list, it's crazy, a LOT of these are going over next few days!

Plus arcade wise? other than the various Retro comps i've picked up over the years on PSone, PS2, Xbox+PSP, i still have my MAME DVD's from my PC era of gaming, yet NO PC.

Damnit, even more:

Family Guy (PS2/Xbox)

Half Life (PS2+DC)

Half Life 2 (Xbox, 360 and had on PS3)

WTF? just found 3 copies on Silent Hill 2 on PS2, plus i have it on Xbox and had on PS3, WTF am i doing with so many versions of the game?

Chu Chu Rocket (GBA/DC)

Marvel Vs Capcom 2 (DC/Xbox)

Call Of Duty 3 (Ps2, Xbox+PS3)

Ha love it!

Some games are certainly worth owning across different formats due to upgraded features etc.
