They really should have kept the focus on the old stuff because that what I think of when I hear classic arcade games, not Time Crisis.

It's not a bad list I suppose, I have seen worse. Of course mine would be very different and include Missile Command  :P

Not too bad. My only personal objections would be Yie Ar Kung Fu, Chase HQ, and Time Crisis... I don't think any of those are truly classics. I'd replace them with Robotron, Galaga, and OutRun all near the top of the list. Then, expand the list to 25 and shuffle in Pole Position, Asteroids, Missile Command, Battlezone, and Mr. Do. Or expand the list to 30 and add Gorf, Burger Time, Millipede, Breakout, and Xevious. Or expand the list to 50 and add ... :D

EDIT: And Tempest... and Tron... and...

TrekMD

Could be better.  Tom lists some of the other games I would have rather seen on there.

Going to the final frontier, gaming...

Pheonix. No classic arcade list is complete without Pheonix.

Pheonix is awesome. I would have added Berzerk, Donkey Kong Junior, Jungle Hunt, Rally-X and Kangaroo.

Very nice list.  Ah! The memories it sparks!

However, every mention after 1985 was a bit of a stretch.  I agree with some of the posts above regarding some notable absences.
