It's a great game, it takes a while to get the hang of if you are used to the first game but once you do it's a far more rewarding game in my opinion.

I just found this site with several mock ups of games for the 2600.  Some of them are remakes of existing games.  Take a look:  Retrofan's Atari VCS 2600 homebrew and hack design page.
