If you've got PS+ you'd do far worse than pick up Whoa Dave! for a freebie rental. It's new, but the most retro game I've played in ages. And it's awesome.

Spent a couple of hours on the Mega Drive Spider-man games tonight. Great fun!

Do you prefer one over the others or did they all get equal time?

Well yesterday i played Assualt Suit Leynos 2 on saturn for the 1st time and must say it is quite tough.I managed to get to level 4 no worries but by god it became tough as old boots on level 4.So it looks like today will be spent trying to crack it and not throwing the pad out of the window :-).I must say it is a good game but only if you have the patience, which im very suprised i have tbh.Good game i would highly recommend.

An hour or so on Duck Hunt on the Wii U. Bought it on Christmas Day, then forgot about it.

When you press the B button you get the Zapper gun trigger click and tinny spring noise come through the remote's speaker. Awesome!

Console Compulsive

I've been working my way through Nethergate: Resurrection which, to be honest, even though it's a Steam re-boot for newer PCs is just as hard as when I played it twelve years ago. An absolute sod of a game but if you are a fan of old isometric RPGs it's well worth the £3.99 on Steam.

Apparently there have been plenty of sequels for Columns!

Shadowrunner

I fired up the Jag today and played Wolfenstein 3D, Protector, Zool 2, and Defender 2000.

I bought a Vectrex about 3 weeks ago.  Although I've played Mine Storm and a few other games via emulation, it's the first chance I've ever had to play with a real Vectrex.  Wow!  This thing is awesome....

Although some of the games haven't aged so well, there are some great classics: Mine Storm of course, but I've also been playing a lot of Armor Attack , Berzerk, Scramble, and Solar Quest.  Funny enough, one of my favorites for this system is Clean Sweep, a game that often gets panned as a blatant rip-off of Pacman.  It is indeed a knock-off, but has just enough differences to keep it interesting...

Been playing my pc engine alot lately.

Last night I played columns, yes I realise that its on every other system but its good fun.

Galaga 88, great little shooter, really surprised me.

Got both of them for £4 each you see, but after playing these I played on gunhed and then 1943, both easily in my top 10 pc engine games!
Currently collecting:- PC Engine, mastersystem, mega drive and CDi.

Cryptic33

Pac Man!!! I was never very good at it bit it is a classic which is still fun to try.

Also, I introduced my daughter's boyfriend to Tempest 2000 on my Jaguar, a system he had not heard of but was impressed with all the same ;)
For the record, Alien verses Predator on the Atari Jaguar holds a Guinness World Record!

To remove any awkwardness, I have mesothelioma. I don’t seek sympathy, just acceptance. Thanks

ls650, congrats on getting the Vectrex.  It is indeed an excellent system and still unique to this day.
