Very nicely done!  Something like this should work for Crystal Castles and Bentley Bear.  ;)

Loving the digital paintings, I've dabbled into this myself, but for portraits of people using a set of artistic brushes inside Photoshop, but never considered doing Retro games characters and there is so much stuff out there, these would be amazing as canvas hanging on a wall, something you might consider :)

@TrekMD, Crystal Castles could be a good one, but I fear there is not enough going on to warrant the effort to create a digital Painting, but who knows :)

Quote from: "Greyfox"Okay, I've made an attempt at a painting based on a classic, when I seen this image i just had to do it, it is of course Billy Lee at the famous Volkswagen Beetle, this images comprised of pixel to pixel upscale to A3 Poster size, as I may consider getting this turned into a Canvas, 15 different artistic brushes were used to blend and smudge the image to create this painting, across 32 layers inside PhotoShop ;)

What do you mean, not enough going on?

Lol..easy tiger..visual information, the game map is contained inside a black background and isometric perspective are very hard to paint around without removing detail obscuring definition of the game graphics, you can't paint over flat colours without drawing out the brush stroke in an outward direction, hence obscuring it, make sense? I thought so :3:

I'll have a look, maybe do an enlarge and see of the technique I use will work. Or maybe Surfted can have a go also?
