AtariAge-member GadgetUK presented players with the first alpha version of his upcoming Lynx game Lynx Ops on Christmas eve.

Lynx Ops is inspired by the arcade classic Cabal; if you do not know Cabal maybe Operation Wolf or Rambo II ring a bell as similar games. You are a soldier in 1st person view and have to shoot all enemy soldiers, tanks and helicopters that conveniently move horizontally instead of running straight at you.

Great stuff, i used to play Operation Wolf to death lol so this may rekindle those times..

I saw this on Atari Age, I think its great that he is bringing back to life a game that was originally supposed to be released on the Lynx anyway.

Cool to see a homebrew game of this genre coming to Lynx. Those graphics look rather basic for a Lynx game though, imho. Maybe it's just an early build though.
