Quote from: "zapiy"Nice one i will get a few of these when i get my CD32.

Did you get one yet?

Brutal Sports Football hasn't been mentioned yet I think, one of the games on CD32 that actually used more than one button and the only football game where it is not only possible to use a players head as the ball but also win the game by killing all the other team lol  :24:

Need to get my A1200 setup and buy a CD drive, not a CD32 I know but its close....

Skip to 1:30 for gameplay (I thought the video had no sound, but no its just a full intro with not a peep from the speakers lol)

Fixed the video link for you.

Brutal Sports Football on the CD32 is very similar indeed to the excellent Jaguar version, great game.

I suppose I should read through the whole thread first but since I didn't :P , I have always been fascinated by Amiga but never owned one. I assume the CD32 is the best way to go in case I ever decided to jump into it?

I guess it depends what you want out of it. The games are supposedly the better versions.

Own: Jaguar, Lynx, Dreamcast, Saturn, MegaDrive, MegaCD, 32X, GameGear, PS3, PS, PSP, Wii, GameCube, N64, DS, GBA, GBC, GBP, GB,  Xbox, 3DO, CDi,  WonderSwan, WonderSwan Colour NGPC

Yeah I don't need another computer for processing anything else so it would be solely for games.

More CD32 love coming from these unofficial conversions with new amazing looking level select, control screens, some with added video intros etc

Its a funny system, often too expensive to convert into a proper A1200 and there's not all that many games to get the full benefit out of buying one.  The controller is awful so its always best to get one from another system add to that by the time you pay out for one you might as well start looking at a HD loaded A1200.  Even after all that I've still owned 2 throughout the years!

Well at the time it was the only Amiga CD system to play aga games, well until the unoffical cd drive for the a1200 that still couldnt play all the games and at a combined price of what i paid for my cd32 and sx1....it all depends on which way you look at it!
And buying a new controller has no relevance as you would have to buy one if you owned a A1200 too!

I think in terms of having amiga console that can play amiga games from cd with added intros etc without fiddling around with whdload files etc is good enough for some people, its nice the system still gets the love for stuff like this.

I don't know why people think there's a lot of messing with WHDLoad?  Its' very easy to run and you can just get full game packs these days.  If you have over 4MB you can easily run anything straight of a HD.

I never said alot of messing, just saves going down that route for some people, dont get me wrong i use whdload myself, but there is something nice booting a cd and playing from that, each to their own etc

But anyway this is CD32 thread, the person has added a Lemmings compilation with new cdxl intro for those interested!

Nice render!
I remember being a little dissapointed when they showed the final design off as the mags were showing this off in early 1993..not sure about the joystick though!

Good garbagio, how did they expect you to hold that controller? My hand hurts just looking at that.

Also, if the controller WAS released by that, Sega would have probably sued them into individual atoms[/i[ for ripping off their controller so throughly. That's blatant, yo.
