Let's talk about the ComLynx Cable for Atari Lynx!

So I've had a Lynx for years and knew about the existance of the ComLynx facility vaguely for a while but I had NEVER seen it work in the flesh... I was not prepared for just how impressive it was!

have a look at this vid from Retrovision this past weekend in which Laird and I play Xybots over ComLynx, this is my first time! it was brilliant

so what do you guys think? I loved this and really wish I knew someone with a Lynx nearby I'd play this all the time!!

This is cool!Â I have the ComLynx cable but I've never had the chance to use it!Â It must be awesome to play Guantlet with friends!

We had long games on both Xenophobe and Xybots, which I hadn't played on ComLynx before so it was really cool!

I thought Xenophobe was especially good as we could split up and cover different parts of the game and form real tactics to complete each level.

Other games I have played on ComLynx before are Zarlor Mercenary, Warbirds, Checkered Flag, California Games and Rampage but most of these were when I was at school.

There are quite a few more games that we both have Slime World, Rampart and Battlewheels so we have something to play next time!Â

Yeah most of my comlynx gaming was many moons ago when i was a little lad lol.. What a great idea for that era though...

it was very awesome... such a shame I didn't know anyone with a lynx when I was younger

I think I will pick up a lynx cable in case I ever meet anyone that has one (chances of that??....0 lol)

yeah probably a good idea as I tried it the other day and got my ass kicked!! Maybe we should arrange something, I'll pop down to you and bring my Lynx and some DC games, maybe my 32x as well so you can see that, not sure when but I'd be up for that

just a shame there's NO ONE else I know who is interested in it, or any old systems for that matter
