That's awesome! Only problem I see is being a custom home made console what happens if it breaks down? It would probably be really difficult to fix or find someone who could fix it. You're putting a lot of faith in this guy that he built a quality product and it will last, and it's already up over $200.00

I actually thought something that did this existed already... albeit in prototype form maybe, this is awesome though, shame they didn't do it from the start or earlier

Sega Neptune is what is what you are thinking of. There are prototypes but it was never released.

i guess it probably is but the neptune only did Mega Drive and 32x, it didn't do Mega CD did it

I thought it did. The Mars was the cart only version I thought.

I remember reading about the Neptune in magazines and seeing a mock up picture of one and I'm pretty sure it was cart only.

i could be wrong but I googled Neptune and the wiki page just mentions MD and 32x, nothing about CD... shame would've been nice :(
