I was actually playing the 2600 version a few days ago!

Thanks TrekMD! Thanks Nintendo for releasing the game!

Dear Santa,

I really would like to have the Arcade version, Intellivision, Odyssey2 and maybe a handheld version also.

Santa would right back:

Hey onthinice,  get a job you bum!

This was one of the games I was looking forward to playing on the 5200 when I first got it.  I have the 2600 version but wanted to try out the better looking version.  Definitely a nice one!

Really surprised the Odyssey 2 version was left out. It would be neat to see the extra screens compared.

I always liked the Colecovison and 5200 over the Nes. The Nes is close as close can be, but still lacks something.

The video comparison has been updated, so here is the new version...

The gameboy version was disappointing. Found it repeatative and the music a bit dull. That said its one of my few childhood originals so still play it from time to time

That Odyssey 2 version is absolutely tragic, you can barely tell that it's the same game!

It's a shame that Spectrum version was never finished, it looks like it had potential to be pretty good.

Odyssey 2 suffered from Atari will sue syndrome. After they had to pull K.C. Munchkin, every game after never looked like the original. Even if it was licensed. :10:

Play any of the late Odyssey 2 releases and you will change your mind. :21:

There are some very different Popeye games for the home computers by Alternative Software:

:) So many fun looking games and I never had a chance to play them.

There was a very bizarre 3rd game too!   ;D
