Really cool that you don't even need the CD hardware to play the games.

TrekMD

I finally watched the video.  Very impressive bit of hardware! I was going to get one but it is rather pricey!  It's about $265!

It is expensive like I said but probably very much worth it to some people.

Based on the video, it is essentially an entire console.  That explains the price.

Absolutely mate. Some real engineering gone into that.

People who ordered these are starting to get them, and I'm seeing a lot of complaints.

For one, all of the prototypes that were sent to YouTube channels for review were made differently than the final model. The circuit board had a bevelled edge like it's supposed to so that it doesn't damage your console when you insert it. The production model does not have this, it's just a straight edge. A lot of people ordered these based on all the positive reviews they saw and now are feeling misled because they got something different.

The other thing is at some point the main guy behind the project moved to a different country. For whatever reason this is causing really high import fees that wouldn't have been an issue if he hadn't moved. And nobody knew he was moving.

Glad I didn't get one.

TrekMD

Dang.  I chose to not get one also.  I'm glad now!  By the way, I just watched this video reviewing the cart.  The reviewer goes over the specs of the cart and even gives some history of the original hardware.  He also explains all the features of the cart.

That is poor customer service, normally the review product is the basic version.
