This is purely about how beautiful the game looks, regardless of technical prowess or how awesome the sounds and music is or indeed how poor the game plays..

As I have never owned an ST I will open this one up to you guys?

Then again, there are so many. Black Lamp is another which I personally feel has always had some of the best sprites. So gorgeous! lol. I also looooove Zynaps, SWIV and Alien World. Strangely all are on AtariCrypt too (plug plug plug .. sorry lol)

There was many exceptional ST titles, anything from Thailion was mostly seen as pushing the envelope, games like Wings of Death, Ghost Battle, Seven Gates of Jambala, Chambers of Shaolin , No second Prize. Plus they all had kick ass music, another one I loved was Powerdrome etc..

Agreed but this is about how it looked. You will find that the best looking game is usually lacking in some way.

I don't know the ST enough to be able to list any games for it.

Going to the final frontier, gaming...

It's a system I will be getting to know a lot better soon.

I think the ST had a sweet spot - 1987-89 where it was the 16-bit machine that games were developed on then ported elsewhere, afterwards it seemed the ST got a greater percentage of Amiga ports.

After a quick look online the Bitmaps kept coming up - Xenon 2: Megablast, Speedball 2, Chaos Engine, Gods. Yes, there all on the Amiga but as ST Games go they were graphically great (plus very playable). SWIV looked pretty tasty too.

On a separate note is there anyone running an ST with an Floppy Emulator. Both my Amigas have the Cortex type drives and I would get an ST if there's an equivalent.
