Everybody has them, elusive games that we desperately want to own someday. Be it rarity, price, or both, we haven't been able to add them to our collections.

For me it used to always be a game called Lucienne's Quest for the 3DO. It was a very late release for the system and was made in limited quantities. A couple years ago I managed to track down a disk only copy so I was finally able to play the game, and I loved it and was overjoyed that I finally had it in my collection. Still though, I really want the box and manual to go along with it so it's still on my list, just not quite as high now.

Other than that there's a few Neo Geo CD games and Jaguar games that I would love to own someday if I can find them at the right price. Most of the time it's the price that makes them hard to get over the rarity, but if you're patient you can get lucky. Snatcher for the Sega CD falls into that category for me. There's plenty of copies out there, but they still go for a lot of money and I'm waiting for a good deal on it.

So, what are they? What are those games that you're dying to own?

The first one that springs to mind is the stupidly expensive Smurfs game for the Master System, followed by Battlesphere gold for the Jag, although manufacturing a cart isn't that hard these days

The one I'm looking for that I can't seem to find in Ebay US is The Lucky Dime Caper Starring Donald Duck for the SMS.  I know they are easy to find in Europe but that won't work for me.

Going to the final frontier, gaming...

Recently found  a CIB copy of Kurushi for PS1 - so one of mine is ticked off. Just need CIB Kurushi Final now (have both disc only at present).

Kula World for PS1 would be nice to get too.

Battle Garegga for Saturn is well thought of and quite expensive - so that's another one.

Maybe a complete Conker for N64 and a nice copy of Bangai-O for the same console.

Same here, most of mine I could just buy from ebay but don't want to pay over the odds.

ClockTower (PS1)...loathed to pay out £50
Conkers Bad Fur Day (N64)...almost £100 for the cartridge only!

One day I hope to find it somewhere dirt cheap...but until that day, for me these 2 (off the top of my head) are my Holy Grails
