I would begrudgingly agree with Laird..Snes did need additional hardware where Mega-drive didn't making it more future proofed than the Snes.. but in saying that..the Snes did have DKC and Killer Instinct and Street Fighter Alpha running beautifully on it lol..

I hate how Nintendo kept pushing enhancement chips, instead of trying to make the best of the technology they had.  It's like they just surrendered to Sega.
