Arcade & Pinball Chat / Re: Best Arcade Games
« on: January 31, 2020, 04:52:43 AM »
Oh, I OCDed through my MAME set not so long ago, perhaps some months ago, to make a favorite set of mine to include with LaunchBox, so I went through every single game, and there were quite a few I didn't know.

Btw, I'm at the moment, since some month, setting up a complete fresh and new LaunchBox install, so I go through every single game of every single system because I only want to include what I really like, there's also a lot of trash, and that would only overload the setup. I really enjoy doing it, consumes a huge amount of time, but lucky me, I do everything at work, so no need to stress at home :D ;)

Great game, which I'm also bad at, but that's why we have cheats nowadays.

Great game, although frustrating in the beginning.

Gunship was quite good for that time, obviously you have to be into that stuff, otherwise you could get a bit lost with the controls.

Don't get me wrong, I played ALL of them, the whole set, I was just listing the very bad ones. Others are Ok to good, although nothing really outstanding.

Indeed, great so far, also quite smooth, only the ride with the horse seemed a bit bumpier.

Some of them:

- Fight for Life
- Cybermorph
- Iron Soldier
- AirCars
- Ultra Vortek
- Hover Strike
- Hyper Force
- Kasumi Ninja
- Missile Command 3D
- Defender 2000
- SuperCross 3D
- Trevor McFur in the Crescent Galaxy

And my favorite of the bunch, wait for it... CLUB DRIVE ;D Are you kidding me ;D

Ok...

So today I tested every single Jaguar game, and oh boy, quite a crappy experience I have to say. I never really tested anything, so I eventually wanted to change that. Knew that it never was a great console, but never thought it was the absolute worst.

There's indeed some good games, although most of them being ports from other consoles, so nothing exclusive. But 80% is just pure trash, plus there are at least top 10 worst games of all time in their catalog, all those 3D ones are just plain terrible.

Not gonna touch again!!

Looks good. Will it be in a Bruce Lee style? I loved that one, top 10 of my favorite all time games.

Retro News & Chat / Re: What Retro Games Have You Played Recently?

Playing a huge amount of retro, as I'm going through collections because I'm installing LaunchBox on a dedicated mini PC, and I go through every single game, don't wanna put games I don't like, so decreasing slightly the size of the sets.

Currently I'm going through my SNES set.
