Nice. I always liked the game in multiplayer, gets tedious quite fast though. Was fun at the fair back at the time ;)

Did not want to mention this, I'm not here since long time, although I know the site for quite some time, but these YouTube threads are not interesting for me at all, as I can see that, guess where, exactly on YouTube itself.

If there would be 1 single YouTube thread where all the people wanna post in, fine, but several threads that get updated almost daily, no thanks. Plus always posting the new uploaded video straight away to the site, is indeed advertising them.

I heard about this the first time some months ago, thought he was already banned. Good riddance anyway. Cheat for yourself, as I do sometimes with PC games, but don't brag and fool other, honest people.

Retro News & Chat / Re: The C64 Mini

I kind of like it, but...

I like the idea of adding games, ROMs, and I guess most of the people who want to buy this mini C64 want that feature too. So why is it not properly implemented yet nor developed more properly? I mean renaming the file to a certain name to be able to add it, then redoing the whole process again seems cumbersome to me. And I don't think it's a complex feature to add. This must be included with day one release, and not reached in when they think they're ready.

If I'm getting one it's going to be this badboy 8)

That one looks like a winner!!

Sadly I was never really into the Speccy, not very popular around here, more C64, Atari 800XL and the Amstrad (Schneider) CPC464.

I sold my slim with Matrix Infinity chip, kept the “normal” one which has a DMS3 chip, prefer that model to the slim anyway.

If your PS2 is chipped, which I guess, it will let you play PAL games.

Drift Mania looks great, always loved this top down racers, playing Mantis Burn Racing a bit at the moment. Is it on Steam or does it also have some console release?

Skidmarks anyone?

Could many people create something like that?  I’m not so sure they could.

Contentwise? Yes.

Got my copy, issue 1, and went through it.

I'm a bit disappointed, what I didn't know, or didn't read before ordering, was that the magazine is in A5 format, which I don't like at all, pictures are way too small, barely can identify them.

The content of the magazine is also shallow, first 11 pages about cheating with pokes, can easily look that up online, then 2 pages about game endings, again a perfect site for this is C64 endings, then a 2 page map of a game, which like mentioned before is unreadable because of the A5 format, pictures being 2x3.5 cm.

After that we have 4 pages of the coder's corner, interview with Georg Rottensteiner which is an interesting read, followed by 2 pages of How to Poke, which again fits the first 11 pages of poking, which is at least a bit more interesting as just the pokes themselves.

And lastly we have a section called Secret Squirrel, which for me is the most interesting part, about hidden messages in code. Some funny stuff appearing. Sadly this one is only 2 pages long.

Last 2 pages are about his hacker pads, which don't seem interesting for me, as I also used to have such stuff, but why would I bother showing it to the public, as it's a personal quite uninteresting and boring thing. And again it could fit with the first pages as it is about hacks and pokes.

So being in that A5 format, and covering half magazine about pokes, it definitely is a pass for me, at least this issue, and for the price, I can get other magazines, I paid 5.75£ with shipping, quite pricey.
