Hakuna matata!

I was thinking of using that as the name for episode 2!

Time for some more Little Big Adventure fun tonight. We start out on a treasure hunt and somehow end up back in prison!

I saw a meme the other day... "if you think Dark Souls is hard, you aint played The Lion King"

I dunno about that but here's how it's done! Possibly the best Disney film ever and definitely one of the SNES classics... The Lion King

Tell ya what, no one can say Sonic Mania isn't good value for money! Each time I complete a level I think it must be the last cos there was only 7 slots for chaos emeralds but they just keep on coming!

Tonight we're in Oil Ocean facing the hardest boss of the game so far

Thanks for all the info, I'm sure it'll all make more sense as I progress and test these things out for myself.

That's actually really impressive that you made it past the second boss without using Estus! Every time you rest at a bonfire the number of uses gets restored. You start with 5 but you can double it right away. Use a Humanity and then rest at a bonfire and become human again. Use another Humanity and then kindle the bonfire to get another 5 flasks.
I did have to use 1 Divine Blessing (the useless gift I picked) which is basically a healing potion but yeah not knowing about the Estus Flasks definitely forced me to get through most of that area flawlessly so I had as much energy as possible for the boss... only took about 50+ tries lol.

Does the game teach you about all this stuff? I've got those humanity things but I didn't know about turning human, is that permanent? Are there any advantages (apart from 5 extra flasks)? Are there any downsides/would I ever wanna not be human?

Sorry for all the questions but seems like there's SO much to learn and the game aint taught me it yet

Man, seeing you struggle through without using your Estus Flask is really painful to watch LOL! That's like hardcore mode! I read the comments and it looks like someone else pointed it out already, should be a little bit easier now. ;)
Lol yeah, two people have pointed that out to me, and you're now the third. Shows how much of a noob I am, I literally just forgot they even existed. Can you use them pretty liberally then, and you'll get more quite easily?

You're also gonna see me struggle through episode 3 too because I recorded it at the same time as 2. It makes a lot more sense now why it felt insanely hard. I kill my 2nd boss in the next episode as well and it felt really unfair that I had to battle through tons of baddies AND then face a boss straight after it without a bonfire or any way to top up my energy. It does mean I spent an hour mastering how to get through that section without losing energy lol.

I've uploaded something a little different today. A short 'get to know me' Q&A which obviously has a gaming focus.

The questions are in the description too if you want to leave a comment with your answers.

Just been catching up on some of your latest vids pal. You are getting better with each video pal. Great work I must say.

Thanks man, that's great to hear! I remember looking back at my first ever video (episode 1 of Doom) a week or two ago and thinking 'god this is terrible' lol. I know I've got a few bits to work on so if I can just keep improving then I'm happy with that.

Tonight I'm playing Undertale for the first time ever and it's all about the sexy jelly!

I wasn't sure what to expect going in, I know it's reallllly popular but sometimes when there's massive hype it can end up being a bit of a let down but I really love it. It's just a nice simple fun game with amazing music. I enjoyed it so much I ended up recording episode 2 at the same time as well.

You'll have to wait till Ep2 before we meet Sans the Skeleton, love him, and love all the puns.

It unlocks doors that normally wouldn't open till later in the game. Sometimes much later. It will mean you can wander into areas where the enemies will be way too difficult for you, but it will also create shortcuts and give you better equipment and items. I've played through the game multiple times and I've never done it without that key. You don't have to have it but it sure helps.

Cheers for the tip man, I think I'm just gonna soldier on and see how I go... hopefully it's all the better if it adds to the challenge of the game a bit.

Tonight it's Mirage Saloon time in Sonic Mania.

Good start :) Hope you stick with it till the end. I konw you're trying to play it blind, but there is one thing you should know. By not choosing the Master Key as your Gift at the character creation screen, you made the game way more difficult! You might even want to start over if that's as far as you've got. It really makes a big difference.

Bloody hell, that's a bit annoying. Does it really have that big an impact? Fwiw, I have only recorded 1 episode so yeah what you see is as far as I've got so far, and yes I am going to stick with it and go all the way..

I've never played any of these games at all and know nothing about them, other than people telling me that I'm going to die... lots!!

It looks like it's gonna be great fun... and realllly hard
