A game I really loved for the PSP is Motrostorm Arctic Edge. Don't usually like racing games but this one I got on the cheap at the time and thought it was fantastic.

Also really likes the PSP version on Marvel Ultimate alliance. Mostly because Hawkeye is one of my favourite marvel characters and he was exclusive to PSP.

That is cool about the buttons for the TvsC fight stick. I personally use a GameCube remote though. Random story about how I discovered the game. I was at university at the time and no one had an Xbox or PlayStation in my house but from reason we thought super street fighter 4 was on the Wii. We went to a local game store to buy one but where disappointed until my housemate spotted Ryu and Chun li on the cover of TvsC and we asked to try the game in the kiosk they had there and loved it and obviously went ahead a bought it.

The light show it produced plus the fact and we where the only ones who had it meant that it was a great social teams when friends were in the house.

I have been playing some more niche games on my Wii. Currently playing no more heroes and tatsunoko vs capcom.

Another one I have seen that is better than it version on a newer console is the batman game from 1990 that came out of the NES and Mega Drive/Genesis. I have played the Sega version which was pretty good but not the one on the NES which is said to be one of the best NES.

Was thinking about this and thought it would be a good topic.

Which games that came out on two generations of consoles where significantly better or worse on an older console.

One I remember being a whole lot worse is the ps1 version of Tony Hawk 4.

It was just high score and high score to progress whereas I remember playing the GameCube version which had unique challenges to do and a bit of a story.

One I heard is better on the previous generation console is rodeo the sky soldier for wii but I never played Any version of it.

Can anyone think of any other? We all know graphics will be better on newer consoles but I was thinking of other aspects like gameplay to story etc.

Quick list of must have.

Micro machines V3
Tekken (Personally I would say number 3 but all are good)
Spyro (Any of first 3)
Crash (Again any of the first 3)
Three lions (Bit of nostalgia here as I don't think it is actually a good game)
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2
Spider man

Hey guys,

Got a small piece of history here. As far as I can tell Big Hero 6 is the last official DS to come out in Europe. As I can't find any info about the Disney 2 pack (which includes this game) coming out in Europe.

Thanks trek, we shall see how it plays, it has been reviewed as one of the few connect games that actually work.

Got these today, not incredibly old games but I still think they are retro :)

Did some research on this and the character was all white in the comics between 1989 and about 1991. The game came out in 1992 so I guess during development the vision was in his all white attire. Still don't think it looks correct though.

I unfortunately have not had the Snes since getting rid of it as a kid but I remember Biker move from Mars being an awesome game for it. I did think about acquiring the PS2 biker mice from Mars but apparently that is a rubbish game. :(

It isn't a great game tbh but like I said he does have the SNES turtles game as an unlockable so cheapest was to get that game in physical media.

This arrived today.

Couldn't really find hyperstone heist for a good price but I can unlock TMNT turtles in time on this so happy with my purchase.

I initially liked the look of this but then the price was a big turn off. :(
