Disney branding doesn't put me off really. There is lots of great Disney games out there. Most of my favourites are for the 16 bit error though. I love all there 2d platformers from that time.

Haha it is like most games these days. You look up a game you think is a hidden gem and you find out it has 12 sequels, a remaster, a comic book series and a fail animated series.

The GameCube was a great console. Had some great games. I am a big fighting game fan and it had great games like bloody roar, capcom vs snk on it along with the great super smash bros. It was certainly a lot better than the n64 in that regard.

At least there is plenty of great Star Wars games out there we can play instead.

Hey guys reviving an old topic again here. Quick question as I know nothing about the C64 but what is the usagi yojimbo game like? I like the comic and all the reviews I can find of it say it is a great but difficult game but don't see it on must have lists or hidden gems. Would it be fair to say it is underappreciated?

Another topic I thought I would revive. A disappointing game for me was star wars demolition for ps1. It was made by the team that made vigilante 8 and is a vehicle combat game but it almost a copy and paste of vigilante 8 as the physics are off because every vehicle controls like a car regardless of the size and type of vehicle you pick. Also the level design is not that great to be honest.

I remember playing a lode runner as a really young child. Honestly not sure what console. I think it might of even been a old windows PC I played it on.

Don't get the vigilante 8 available on Xbox arcade. I got the free demo today and it has way too many glitches. I'm currently looking at a auction of it for ps1 on eBay. From all accounts the best version is vigilante 8 2nd offense for dreamcast but I don't have a dreamcast so will get it on the ps1 I think.

Mine is GameCube which I would be happy enough with.

Haha well I sold mine on when I was young and stupid so that is probably worse. If you like the twisted metal series then this is definitely worth a look. The first game is relatively cheap for PlayStation if you have one and the second game in series strangely came out on dreamcast, ps1 and n64. Even more strangely it seems to be cheaper for dreamcast than other consoles. Don't think that happens too often.

Though I would revive an old topic here. games I really enjoyed for the n64 when I had one was both the vigilante 8 games. They are generally better known is the PlayStation and even then are overshadowed by the twisted metal games so i would say they went underappreciated.

Mario Kart truly is the ultimate party game no matter what console. I mainly play Mario kart 8 but love the Wii version too. Just all round good fun. Would disagree about other vehicles being added. I am personally a big fan of the quad bikes.

Motrostorm is well worth a look if you have a PSP just amp great off road racer. It came out for ps2 as well but that version costs a bit more to get than the PSP version.
