Retro News & Chat / MVL Gaming on Youtube (My Channel)
« on: October 09, 2016, 20:04:07 PM »
Hi guys,

Just wanted to let you know I've a channel, and here's the link:

I just uploaded a pick up video, which features gameplay footage for almost all the game I bought this month. (Yay, cheap games at car boot sales!)

I also have a ton of other content, Lets Plays (MVL Plays) and edited content, in a more professional format. (Danger Zone) I also have some Magic the Gathering videos, and will be putting up some Warhammer battle reports.

Thanks for taking the time to look, its very much appreciated. Getting the word is a little daunting, but I'm committed to making a new video every week.

Retro News & Chat / Re: Light Gun Games on Modern TV's

It seems like a cool solution. But CRT's (although bulky) are cheap, and quite easy to find. As an avid light gun player, I can't really imagine using anything else than my current CRT TV. And worse than that, would be imagining having to move the darn thing if I threw it away.

Introductions / Hellow everyone, I'm MVL
« on: October 09, 2016, 19:51:37 PM »
Hi everybody, I'm MVL. (Victor Lazarus)

I'm seeking to converse with like minded individuals, and even though doubtlessly many of the users of this forum will have collections that dwarf mine, those in physical throwing distance of myself, think I have too many games.

I was first introduced to games at a young age, waiting what seemed like eternity for my father's Commodore 64 to load a tape. From then on I was hooked, working my way up to the Commodore Amiga computer, and eventually bought myself a Gameboy. I still own my original N64. Over time, I have ended up an adult, surrounded in gaming resources. I now boot up my Xbox One, and wait what feels like an eternity, for the games to install. Nothing changes.

Cheers all!
