Retro News & Chat / How do i go about insuring my gear?
« on: January 15, 2015, 11:12:52 AM »
As the title says how would i insure my stuff?
Now some may laugh but i woke up this morning having had a very realistic dream of having all my game stuff and onlythat stolen.I swear i woke up shouting 'bastards' while shaking.
So have any of you guys got any tips how to value my games and systems for insurance purposes?

Evening all, today has been an Elevater Action Returns day and now Bubble Symphony is warming my saturns disc drive. On a slightly different note does anyone here have Liquid Kids for the saturn or has anyone played the saturn version?I'm feeling quite tempted to get it but it is crazy expensive and i would like some advice if anyone can help out.

Merry Christmas all :-)
I have not bought much new lately but have been playing Shin Shinobi Den on saturn and King Of Fighters 97,however i feel that 96 feels a more complete game(im not sure if it is just because the music seems non existant hence no feel).Oh and Twinkle Star Sprites.
Peace to all men god knows we need it.

Hell i often feel older :1: but when i boot up a game it's as if i'm still a nipper and how many things can we honestly say that about? lol.The main point is this is a more mature site than countless others with younger people like teenagers who seem to think it is appropriate to shout people down because of whatever system they own.I like a nice debate about things and i look forward to engaging in some nice discussions.

Apparently the original is unlockable but seeing as i die just before the final boss i have not unlocked it yet so i think some quality time this weekend is needed :-).

Cheers greyfox  i have been enjoying the site for a while and thought it was time to stop lurking and introduce myself ;-).It is a great community and i love that the site covers everything from the humble 2600 and atari 8 bit micros upto the mighty dreamcast and everything inbetween.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you guys and it seems the (i am guessing here) average age here seems to be mid to late 30's which is my age group,i can not stand the peurile childish fanboyism(isnt that a terrible word) on a lot of other sites. So glad to be here thanks and i know i will learn things i have no idea about here such as the atari jag cd's i saw in another thread. :1:

Hi all, i have been playing a lot of Elevator Action Returns on the saturn.I'm loving this game it has a very cool feel to it and the animation is great. However it can be quite frustrating when you suddenly get shot by 3 baddies and you fall off a platform or get crushed by the elevators and have to continue but im determined to 1cc this game :1:
All in all this game was expensive and it is fairly short but it just oozes quality and character and is exactly the reason i originally bought my saturn.

Hi all just like to say thanks for accepting me into this fine forum,my name is jamie,my hair is greying but i still love my games like i did as a kid.Unfortunatley my vice these days is import saturn games and they cost a wee bit more than the budget commodore 64 tape games i played as a nipper.
Anyway just wanted to say the site is great and i look forward to participating in some healthy discussion about our beloved pastime.

  Cheers Jamie
