I think this is something that will be discussed for years to come. I think this really comes down to personal preference, ie when you were born. In a generation or two the Xbox 360 & PS3 will be considered as retro.
i usually say 10 year mark as a rule of thumb just to keep things simple for myself. 94

I got my Dreamcast for Christmas after launch and I think it was so ahead of its time. Xbox Live and PSN have the Dreamcast to thank as the Dreamcast was the first console to dabble in the world of online gaming.
Would love to get a full Dreamcast collection but a lot of the games go for very high prices (ie Shenmue games) 99

Love the Atari 2600 such a great console. Where the games lack in graphics they always have addictive fun gameplay. One of my faves has to be Demon Attack
