Quote from: "dot.fyre"I bought my pi about 10 months ago.
I built a case out of Lego for it.
Tried out a few os.
And it's sat next to my tv's ever since doing nothing.   :)

I will but don't expect anything special.
It was more to keep it safe rather than look nice!  :-[

Quote from: "Retrotext"Maybe we try too hard these days, I would love a publication like that today.

I totally agree. I still read my old copies of Retrogamer fanzine.

I always read them cover to cover. Unlike it's more modern namesake.

Quote from: "Vyothric"The music is ace, but this counts as a game?  :P

Thinking the same.
Great music. Well drawn graphics.
Tech demo/proof of concept yes. Game? No.

This is from memory (which could be a bit dodgy!) but there might be a bit of lag depending on game/machine region.
I'm talking specifically of the dreamcast version.

I saw this in the "bad" custom console thread.
The colour may not be to everyone's taste but I have to say, it's really well done.
The original pic doesn't do it justice so here it is.

Quote from: "TrekMD"Nice set of games, dot.fyre.  :40:

Neither worked properly. Could have been the carts although they were both sealed when I got them.
As for Asteroids, it's a nice box.

Here is a daylight picture of the machine, you can make out the join a little, but I did quite well using only hand tools.

A thing of beauty. Better than the original!

In my living room I have the following consoles set up:
360, wii, PS2, Dreamcast and my Xbox.
It's the xbox that is used almost 90% of the time (more often than not using Mame and my two arcade sticks).
When my nephews visit, the first thing they say is "can we play the xbox?"

Outwith the modded capabilities, it's a very good console.
With them, it's one of the best.

Some favourites (not all exclusives)

Call of Cthulhu
Black
Jet Set Radio Future
Crimson Skies
Project Gotham Racing 2
Freestyle Moto X
Oddworld Strangers Wrath
Silent Hill 2
Forza
Burnout 3
Ninja Gaiden
