General Retro Chat / Re: SNK Neo Geo Thread
« on: July 18, 2020, 17:14:58 PM »
For the most part I agree. Neo Bomberman and Prehistoric Isle 2 didn't get home releases so I don't have that much experience with them, but between AES cartridge and CD I have all the rest and they are very good games.

A lot of people think that the Neo Geo is nothing but fighting games but this shows that there's a lot more to the system.

I've seen it before but I had never really looked into just what it was. Not something I would have a use for but it does look nice, if you got all the parts that is lol.

Nice to see an actual date but wow that is expensive. Atari has their fans who will buy this but I don't see the average person buying one at that price.

Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder
Columns II
Dark Edge
Puzzle & Action: Tant-R
Virtua Fighter
Fantasy Zone
Altered Beast

Lol yeah you're seeing right.

I'm guessing that the retailer registration card still attached is what drove the price up. Sealed Gameboys aren't common but they're not that rare. This one was basically not even sold.

You thought that was absurd, take a look at what it sold for. I just don't get it!

Okay, the price of retro games and systems has officially gotten crazy.

Check out this Sealed Gameboy on ebay. I really can't believe how much this is going for!

Yeah that's a bit much lol. Looks close to the one I had as a kid but I think mine only came with Mouse Trap.
