Hudson Hawk was never an obvious movie license. What did you have to go on when creating the game?
And have you seen the film?

There's a host of recent button-mashing style games that I've really tried to like. Think Devil May Cry, God of War, Darksiders. But just get bored of them and give up.

I interviewed him over the phone between 7.30 and ten. I was at home, he was still in the office!

One I'm always banging on about...Deactivators

Ariolasoft weren't renowned for quality and this was on a sub-label of theirs.

Tigress marketing came up with the idea, sold it to them and they hired some programmers to "realise" it.

You play a team of bomb disposal robots and need to collect the bombs and chuck them out of the nearest window, very safe lol.

Later levels were devilish, reversing gravity, controls etc. Graphics lovely, crisp and clean.

Was playing a bit of Taz Escape from Mars last night with my son. Didn't get very far because he preferred to just make Taz eat bombs/dynamite etc and belch, which caused much hilarity as you can imagine to a five-year-old...

He was good to interview because he was there in their early years, but I think he moved on pretty quickly. I think it would be great to read about what he's been upto since.
