Retro News & Chat / Atari 2600 and zx81 composite mod« on: March 01, 2012, 16:44:41 PM »
Hi, I thought I would share my Blogpost about the AV mod I did on My VCS.
When researching how to do this I discovered that My Red PCB was never mentioned in the methods on the net ( maybe did not look hard enough ), so I used a mod and altered it for the best results that I could get on mine. I hope its of some use to some of you all. http://retrotext.blogspot.com/2011/11/atari-2600-composite-mod.html 835

Thanks, I have done a bit more on it since then, I have stuff on my youtube channel about it.
Getting to grips with fourth, and can see how a lot of the early VCS games may have used similar techniques to make games. I have made a full keyboard for mine now! 837

Homebrew Chat / Re: Rasberry Pi (Is this the future if Emulators)« on: February 29, 2012, 22:23:58 PM »
Hi, I have one on order, should be with me by the end of March.
I have an empty C64 with a keyrah interface that turns the Keyboard into a usb ps2 keyboard, I have it attached to the Wii and run frodo, but I hope to put the PI in the case and have a stand alone emulator. I don't think the Pi is the saviour of programming though, I have a FIGnition and have really learned loads on it, never thought I would be able to program in forth! Its good that the Pi has a rca out for hooking up to CRT tellys to give the graphics the genuine feel for emulation. 840
