Is it any good? I use mame and was wondering if there were any advantage to changing to it. I believe it needs the softmod that I already use for Mameox.

Would you like the boards re-ordered?
Maybe you prefer to talk more about one kind of system and go to that section more often.

Maybe you like it the way it is now- please complete the poll so we know!

any ideas about this, please post them.

Homebrew Chat / The New Raspberry Pi B+
July 21, 2014, 09:08:07 AM
The updated version of the Pi model B is now available, it is the same price as the model B but I read that it has some upgraded features.

There are now 40 GPIO pins vs. 26 on Model B
The SD card is now Micro SD
There are 4 USB ports, thats two more than the original.
The mounting holes are symmetrical and the corners of the PCB are rounded, making it a nicer form.

There is a link to the Site here, will anyone be giving this a try?

I have recently managed to help my friend with connecting a BBC keyboard to his PC with of one of these Arduino Minis,

the technique is quite simple- once you have the matrix you can map the buttons to it, the usb on the mini takes care of the rest.

Here is one that Smitytone has blogged about. He used a leonardo.

Homebrew Chat / The Kim 1

Whilst Commodore were a big producer of Calculators, Chuck Peddle made a Kit with the MOS 6502 chip ( the very same one that Futurama's Bender has in his head!)

$245 got you the kit, and they proved very popular as they were cheaper than the Altair.

Hi Guys, just thought I would share this with you,
http://www.masswerk.at/spacewar/inside/
Its an archaeological approach to the first video game, the author takes a look at the games source code and looks at the techniques that were used to fit it all in the rom chips of the time, quite a bit of reading.

Also you can play Spacewar! on a virtual DEC online here.

http://www.masswerk.at/spacewar/ it's quite fun.
