Hold on to your remotes! its a Teletext podcast, it's better than my wife's 22" Bush.

"But guys," we hear you cry. "How on earth can you represent teletext, a naturally silent medium, in audio form?" Well, Carl and Dan weren't quite sure at first but, thanks to an unnatural determination when it comes to telemetext, began fumbling blindly for 'relevant' topics. And do you know what? I don't think they had any problems finding talking points... I'll let you be the judge of that, however.

I just ordered a bookazine from them, I found the discount code FACE2 gave me £2 off, so that's the postage paid. Better than nothing!

Might be an idea to post any other offers up if anyone finds them here.  :105:

It has taken me long enough to get around to experimenting with some ZX spectrum graphic utilities, this is the first Demo I have put together, Yerymez kindly granted my permission to use his AY music.
thanks @Greyfox for sharing this with others, I am pleased that people like it.

Retro News & Chat / Question to Retromod
February 13, 2015, 11:33:43 AM
I have a scart output only for my ZX spectrum, I wanted tap an RCA video out from it. I managed to get a very clear picture, but only in Black and White. I tried making a resistance ladder with the R,G,B luma outs to GND but I could not do anything.

I have a cheap adapter on order but wondered if you knew why or how I could hack a solution?

I have finished my space invader cabinet, the install was fairly straight forward, the dismantling of the PC was a trick feat but apart from that I found the whole experience very relaxing :)

Retro News & Chat / Dicking about on the Spectrum.
January 12, 2015, 15:03:48 PM
Hi all, not been able to do much, retro for a few months, however I did blow dust of the old Speccy and had a play with the streaming utility on the divide interface.

The result was a random video of ED209 and some spooky numbers stations transmissions.I don't think I will have hollywood on the phone as a result! :)

ZX Spectrum, ED209 and the Swedish irdial

In other news, I have added to my Amstrad NC collection, I hope to post the pictures up soon.

September 03, 2014, 13:26:04 PM
I don't have loads and loads of stuff, on a recent visit to the O2 I saw how cool somethings look when wall mounted, so I made a start in covering one of the the walls in my office.

the C=64 does not hang nicely so I left that off.

Hi we will be doing a show segment about Lorfs, heroic attempt to collect EVERY PAL NES game. He fell short with ten to go.

What would you like to ask him? you could get a mention in the show too.
