Looking to clear out some games I no longer play - these are ones that I already completed / probably won't play for a while. All Japanese DMG carts are in almost mint condition with the exception of Rockman World 3.. all the games were purchased Akihabara when I went earlier this year. Prefer to ship within the UK due to postage costs
Game Boy Gallery 1 - £1
Game Boy Gallery 2 - £1
Nemesis = £6
Yoshi no Tamago = £1
Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins with case = £4.00
Rockman World 4 = £14
Rockman World 5 = £10
Rockman World 3 with case = £5
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles = £8
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 = £7
Kirby with case = £4
some close up shots of the carts

I recently came across some auctions on Ebay where people were selling modified X-Box original consoles with a ton of stuff on them, where you can play retro games... a lot of retro games, has emulators, etc. I would have bought one but I already own a X-Box original. Mine is pretty much in mint condition, still got the box and everything, hardly played it when I got it ages ago.
Any who, I'm looking to modify mine to do the same; checked various sites and YT videos, but most of them say I have to buy/rent a kit online (consisting of Splinter Cell and a USB stick with pre-loaded files).. has anyone ever modded theirs without paying for any kits? Like is their a place where you can download the files? I already have SC: Pandora Tomorrow and loads of USB sticks; all I need is the files. Has anyone done this before?

I recently picked up a secondhand DS Lite handheld for peanuts when I was in Tokyo last month, they only had 2 systems in the store at that time, both pink colour.... or salmon :-
Anyone here changed it before, and how difficult would it be for someone who has never done it before.. some tutorials state soldering is required while some doesn't. Most say it takes a few hours at least.. wanna go for something like this;

Prices for GB are ok on Ebay, most are a little expensive for my taste... but if you go to Japan, you can practically get them for free depending on the area. AKB in Tokyo sells them for peanuts, can pick up random carts for just a few pence

The little Tiger handhelds look cool, but the game itself is another story lol

TIGER ELECTRONIC HANDHELDS
Anyone else have one of these little machines, or collected any?
I recently found a Street Fighter 2 one with the light accessory stored away in a box
both the light and the game works perfectly as if I bought it yesterday
Did a Google search on these, didn't realise Tiger released so many titles, so many based off cartoons and movies. Here's my one;
battery compartment completely clean and crisp, still in excellent condition after 20 plus years.. guessing I got this back in 1993, or somewhere around that time.

Reminds me of that video series by the Angry Video Game Nerd, except he reviews bad video game covers lol

what's up everyone?
I'm from the U.K., had all the retro gaming consoles back in the day;
Mega Drive, PS1, X-Box, Game Boy, Game Gear, NES, SNES and my fave Sega Saturn..
recently got back into retro game collecting, mainly GB.
nice to meet you all :19:
