That looks nice!

In some ways it reminds me of Silpheed for the Mega Cd.

I also think that the PS1 is cool, and retro as well.

Back in the day I didn't give it much attention, as I was into PC gaming.

Some years back I bumped onto a PSone kiosk, and have been collecting 2-player PS1 games for the kiosk.
It was then that I discovered the many great games this console has.

I also like pinball games, and the PS1 has plenty of those, and some use the Dualshock in a very good way.

Welcome!

Is there a particular retro console that has your interest?

Haha, no my Japanese isn't that good!

Manx TT also looks good yes, it seems to be like a typical Sega game with bright arcade-like graphics.
I've also looked at the prices of Sega Saturns, and they seem to be pricey, but I will keep it in mind though.

I also have a Dreamcast, so that will be my substitute for a Saturn atm :)

Yeah, you may be right about that :1:

But Battlesphere is a game that -mostly amongst Jaguar "fans"- leads to heated discussions which results in locked topics at other forums.

That Astal game looks beautiful!

Nicely drawn 2d-games with great music never get old imo.

Unfortunately I've never owned a Sega Saturn and probably never will, as I have to many systems already which includes PS1 that also has very nice 2D-games.

Yeah, it would be cool if we could compare.

It's good that you respect Gordon's wishes, so if you can't share the file, no problem!

Is the file that Sinigord send you for sharing, or for your own use only?

I've never played the cd version of Painter, but I do have the SE cartridge edition from omf which is great with tons of levels and a lot of different music-tunes.

I always find it difficult to make a top ten, or five etc.  so there are a lot of "one of the best games" for me :1:

Battlesphere is one of the best games on the Jag imo, but it always seems difficult to talk about it without "trouble" on the forums.

Don't expect too much trouble here, though.

Atari Chat / Re: A Method of Encrypting Jaguar CDs
« on: September 05, 2015, 11:28:50 AM »
zapiy, it's not a stupid question.

Back-ups from encrypted cd's like original games and later homebrew cd's can be copied for back-up and should work right away.

There is a difference in cd-brands though, and some brands don't work very well/are difficult to read for the Jag cdplayer, but in my experience this is not different than with other consoles like PS1 and Dreamcast.

This must be an insane lot of work for you, Saturn.

On the other hand, you can do it "on the job" :1:

Btw, are there a lot of members here that own and appreciate Battlesphere?
