Oh, that does look like something special!
Indeed and for modern gamers, apparently they have shown off the box playing “Fortnight” without fault - https://www.bleedingcool.com/2020/01/18/apparently-you-can-play-fortnite-on-the-atari-vcs/?utm_source=most_popular&utm_medium=widget&utm_campaign=most_popular_mobile

I’m with Trek on this, only one step further because this is my all time favourite arcade game. 🥰

I saw his other videos in this series and it is quite fascinating just how much was planned for the Jag. If only, if only...

It’s all becoming a bad dream. I am losing faith in this project, fast.

Hmm, good? I think you are being diplomatically kind there. I’ve seen a video review of this latest title and the author really ripped into it. That, of course, is one mans view. From what I’ve seen of this title, it has a little promise in terms of concept but the whole thing looks very similar to the earlier Zombie and Food 64 titles in that it is a simple shoot em up. All that said, it is great that this chap is having a go at programming new titles for the Jag. However, wave one games do fall short of what others have produced in recent years. What this man needs is less production at expensive prices and more support in the form of testing, storyboards and dare I say mentoring by expert programmers. Then, his ideas can develop into more meaty titles that will excite the whole Jaguar community who will then be more willing to part with hard earned cash.

The whole thing is a mess and doesn’t show any promise now 😐

Well done! I also don’t have this game and have read it is hard but I find the game concept interesting. Would be awesome if you can find the video.

What great little game. Very unusual to combine two games together like that. It seems the 7800 is getting a good amount of new homebrews and of a good standard also. I only owned this console for a brief time as they never really took off here in the UK and getting games was very hard, 7800 games that is. Nice to see it now getting the love it deserves and the mods to keep it current.

I don't understand either but this is how people can be.
Not us, thankfully 👍🏻😎

Yes, I read a couple of sour comments on social media and some of that was from a former member of this site. I will never understand all the pettiness that comes forth when someone is trying to genuinely create a piece of work that we will all enjoy. I look forward to seeing my name in print 😉😝

Yes, I get the emails also. I agree Trek, it is amazing, given how much support has been shown, that a number of sites and individuals still bash the VCS. There are many arguments to have over originality, Atari of old and the competition. However, this is a new product which, admittedly has been annoyingly delayed, should be judged as such. Something new on the market. I say, let’s go with it and see what we get when this thing is finally released.
