Well, my parents did not want to buy me a console, so instead, when I was 9 I got a computer: an Amiga 500+. That was the right choice, because not only I did enjoyed playing games, but I also discovered enjoyed programming my own ones too
Now I still own my A500+, an A2000 and A1200 (with PPC accelerator).
Fast forward, what I really missed was creating my own retro-gaming machine. Well, problem sorted I'm developing an open source DIY retro gaming console ^^.
BTW: even if I live in Budapest (Hungary), I'm Italian
So, I'm glad to be here!
