You don't have to attend NERG 2015 to be in with a chance to win the pinball machine.

You can purchase your tickets online via the charity website.

Thanks for posting this!

This event will hopefully be of a similar affair to NERG 2014 with a variance in machines.

I guess the biggest attraction will be your chance to win a Back To The Future pinball machine which is being raffled off for charity. All proceeds will go to the charity too!

I hope you're travelling with a big suitcase as you may need it :-)

Just in! A massive collection of Twin Galaxies trading cards courtesy of Walter Day himself. A very kind donation for the raffle in aid of Bright Red!

Over the weekend of NERG, Jon Stoodley will be attempting to complete the Perfect Pac-Man game LIVE!

From Wikipedia – "A perfect Pac-Man game occurs when the player achieves the maximum possible score on the first 255 levels (by eating every possible dot, power pellet, fruit, and enemy) without losing a single life, and then scoring as many points as possible in the last level. As verified by the Twin Galaxies International Scoreboard on July 3, 1999, the first person to achieve this maximum possible score (3,333,360 points) was Billy Mitchell of Hollywood, Florida, who performed the feat in about six hours.

In September 2009, David Race of Beavercreek, Ohio, became the sixth person to achieve a perfect score. His time of 3 hours, 41 minutes, and 22 seconds set a new record for the fastest time to obtain a perfect score. As of September 2010, six players have earned a perfect score.

In December 1982, an 8-year-old boy, Jeffrey R. Yee, supposedly received a letter from U.S. President Ronald Reagan congratulating him on a worldwide record of 6,131,940 points, a score only possible if he had passed the unbeatable Split-Screen Level. In September 1983, Walter Day, chief scorekeeper at Twin Galaxies, took the US National Video Game Team on a tour of the East Coast to visit video game players who claimed they could get through the Split-Screen Level. No video game player could demonstrate this ability. In 1999, Billy Mitchell offered $100,000 to anyone who could pass through the Split-Screen Level before January 1, 2000. The prize was never claimed."

It was me!  :103:

NERG can only allow 900 into the event because of insurance reasons.

I may be wrong but I think that makes it the best machine to person ratio in the country. Over 100 video arcade machines, 30 pinballs and around 60 consoles and computers.

Oh, double the amount of traders this year too.

Hotel details are on the website but rooms are limited at the agreed rate.

A video I did of the event. Filmed around 1:30pm. It was a bit busier before that.

Morning guys!

Truly humbled by all the amazing feedback. Not one negative comment. Well, apart from some "Milly Tant" who thought the photo of the girl playing Star Wars was sexist. The girl in question has actually made it her Facebook profile picture!

There are SO many people to thank. The machine donators who put their faith in me, the gaming community who continuously supported me and my friends and family who never stopped once during the weekend.

Then there is the "tech" team who are constantly running around fixing and maintaining machines to keep them running for the paying public. Putting shout outs for spares etc. Great team spirit.

Get your pics and videos uploaded and I'll share!

We had roughly 600 people attend on Saturday and 400 on Sunday. Numbers can be improved but for a first time event, I'm over the moon!

£830 was raised for Cash for Kids also.

Really appreciate all the support and fantastic comments.
