Yes, it's a great game, a bit in the too difficult side but great.

It's also an expensive title but as you say it deserves the buy. :)

Quote from: "JoeMusashi"Nice collection.

Are you ever tempted to open the sealed games?
I opened several Jaguar games but if I don't like much the game I buy it sealed again and keep it like that, some of the games you see in the pics have the seal opened, it's always a pleasure to open games with almost 20 years. :)
In some cases I have the game sealed and one copy to play it.

Both are great games but very different in everything, I enjoyed a bit more Castlevania IV as I played it when I was a kid but Bloodlines is excellent.

Retro News & Chat / Re: Your Gaming History
September 03, 2014, 16:46:48 PM
My gaming history is like this:

80's: Arcades, bars, pubs and every place which had an arcade machine.

Late 80's: My sisters' 8086 PC (Which I now have plugged and working perfectly) and my first own gaming machine, the almighty Spectrum 48k+.

Early 90's: More arcades, the SNES and the reason I started failing in my studies. :40: :21:

We're lucky to enjoy now the games and systems we couldn't have then, I love to explore and discover new titles and consoles I couldn't play.

The problem is my pocket is almost as empty now than then!! :21:

I don't really care about the CGE version, it does not affect anything more than a couple of graphics here and there and also CGE does not represent anything for me, it's very far from here!

I would have preferred to have a new game instead of an expansion, I like Protector SE though. The thing is people without that game will need it to play Resurgence, and that's quite expensive. Couldn't Carl do a CD with both, the game + expansion, or is not technically possible?

Hope the next (if there are more Songbird games) is a new one, I loved the addition of Robinson's Requiem to the catalog, after that, the release of Resurgence have mixed feelings for me.

WTF! Laird is now Gone or is he really out of the game?

Congratulations onthinice, you own a nice collection!

I had a NeoCD in 1996 but sold it a year later to buy a Saturn. A couple of years back I had the luck to find an almost unplayed console which was bought in the same place I bought mine. The owner played it for less than a week and stored it for 15+ years. One controller is still sealed and the memory of the console is still unformatted.

This console is great and most of the games are really affordable compared to the cartridges, most of them have enhanced music and more options. The fail was some games have smaller sprites and details and the loading times are huge in games but overall is a very nice system with top games.

I now have 20 cart sealed games and another 9 with the seal opened by me.

Most of the rest are in very good/near mint condition with the exception of AVP which is 7-7,5/10 and DDV which I would say it's 6-6,5/10, it's the black sheep of the collection in every way! Also I recently realised the box of D2K has a slight sunfade on one side so I will need a box for it or try to convince |nferno who has it sealed in mint condition, lucky guy!! :)
