Interesting! I was living in Oklahoma at the time and remember seeing one of these in action at a neighbor's house. Needless to say, we never went back to play it again. Sounds like a whole lot of trouble getting this thing to market but some fine artwork on the blackjack cover there. Sure miss boxes with that type of design from way back.

Sega Ages - Galaxy Force II (Japan)
I searched for Action Replay codes for this game but none are available that I could find so I just now hacked Infinite Health and added it into Mednafen to finally see the rest of the game!
I use this in the Mednafen emulator. Not sure there's a Master Code for this game that works to try it on an Action Replay cart on real hardware.

This game looks much better than the 1st. In some of the screens before the stage starts he has 'sparkles' all over his helmet and body. Like they were pressing the point that he's super clean or something. May be trying to illustrate that this game isn't the pile of sh*t the original was LOL. The target practice at the end of stage one was HARD. Not anymore though :p

I had this game way back and hoped it would be as appealing as the original arcade cabinet I used to play in the golf course club house as a youngster. Sadly, it paled in comparison. Sold the cartridge to the local VHS rental place for quick cash to buy something new.
I just blazed through 4 levels with the screen flashing from constant smart bombing the enemies Didn't lose a single humanoid :p
