will do mate, ordered it sunday as a birthday present to myself (birthday is in a week) no idea how long these little beauties take to arrive (ordered a shelled one so probably a bit longer unless Dan has some stock pre shelled I guess

ordered one sunday night from retrotowers, everyone seems to speak very highly of them so thought it was a good idea

hi guys whatcha got

after an ms or md everdrive, as up to date as possible, cased would be great

thanks

my gb pirate carts

the first one is 'super hits 2000 color 32 in 1' it was in a 2 for £5 offer at playblackpool, it has half a dozen games that repeat with different names, most of which are terrible english, like 'sapient hen' 'equate flick' and 'push on egg'

next is a 16 in 1 which actually only has dr mario on it. oh and that was in the same 2 for £5

the one labelled 51c is the best, it has 51 actual games on it, including tetris, hyper lode runner etc, i will edit this post eventually with the full list, that one set me back £8

wish i could make it, i;ll be watching maximo park in manc, why couldnt they play in leeds on that day?

shadow dancer on the master system was terrible

That is a great find.

thanks mate, was originally cautious about spending that much on a single item, it doesnt have a manual but got some interesting manuals coming over from the states including one for that, and also some other odds and ends that dont come up over here

Nice! I really like your whole collection but the boxed Sega Light Phaser stands out most. Great display!

That was one of the most expensive items £13 in a charity shop, might change the top display to a load of rare ms games, got loads of ms ntsc too

Nice collection pal.. Where is all this? in a spare room or main room?

Spare bedroom mate. Beauty of it being that size is it can move if needed

on top of the shelves is a tectoy boxed rainbow islands- very rare, but no manual or cart, the label is tatty (all brazillian stuff is), i got it off a guy on sega8bit for free, the box was £1, next to that is a signed airwaves racing cap (my favourite team) and next to that is an ebay motors promo cap which i got last year at a btcc event, next to that is my 360 and ps3

just below that is my wii and games, 360 and ps3 games, ds games, charger, ms light phaser, all my md games and my unboxed ms games, 2 of my 3 pads are attached, i have a megafire too but thats not in the pic.

in the middle is my sony shelf, even though my ps3 stuff isnt there, my ps2 games are double stacked, my psp should be there but it was on charge, i have another ps1 pad as well

bottom shelf is all master system, double stacked, eventually the ms stuff will fill all of that as i have more stuff coming from a few swaps

........games.........got.........enough........already

No such thing!

230 (and about 400 more on retro collections) not enough? lol

must.....stop.......buying........games.........got.........enough........already

well i bought a nice copy of command and conquer for ps1, big box version 99p, box has cracks but will research how to restore it, super kick off (master system) £1, only wanted it for the box to put a tectoy artwork into, davis cup (mega drive) box only 25p- will improve condition of one of my md games, same with brian lara cricket (md) £1, its a codemasters game, so has one of the funny boxes, might put my copy of m.m turbo tournament into that box as its much better than it has, my missus also managed to find a 2gb psp memory card for £2.50, i have a tiny one donated by someone off rg but this is perfect for some ms/cd32 emulation on my psp.
and while we were shopping (my missus stood outside the shop as she had been to costa- i am allergic to caffeine), while we were on the other side of the town centre she said 'that shop had wonder boy in monster world in the window for £10, has that been there a while?' i went back to put the shopping in the car and called in and picked it up, along with the tape i talk about on the other thread.

then i dropped some stuff off with my parents (mum has no car till monday as she had a crash yesterday) and they were getting rid of a bookcase, which now houses my games collection

hopefully thats me done till play blackpool

ok next question- does anyone on here want it?

Was sold blank in 1980 odd and bought for its contents today by me

None of my systems use tapes but trying to find a home with someone that will use it

Today i bought a 12 minute blank cassette, looks original 80s

On it written on the inlay in pencil are names of games
star trek
Brands
Connect 4
Boobi
Deamon
Around the horn
Grand prix
Dropout

I think its a c64 homemade compilation, can anyone help identify it? Thanks
