QuoteGood point, how do I achieve what you said mate?

What bit, the slider or the category bit?

How do you see people being able to add content, frontend or backend?

Have you created templates for blog posts where you are simply filling in raw content to or are you creating each blog page separately?

How would you want the games per category to be displayed?

Do you have any form of site structure plan you are working from?

Looks good :)

The only thing I would say is that the slider at the top doesn't really add anything of any value to the site, and is part of the reason that it is taking upwards of 4 seconds to load the page.

What CSSIgniter theme are you using out of interest?

Also, it might be worth looking at the way games are listed within categories, as currently, they are in a blog archive, making the process of finding a specific game (in categories that have large lists of games) a pain in the rear.

Pic below, will take £20 delivered for the lot (international postage at cost)

Cost me £3.75 per issue PLUS delivery a few short months ago, but I would rather let someone else have them than dispose of them.

I typed in Revival Fanzine and it was the second link in the google search Keith :)

http://revivalgames.org/

Its a French mag, but it has been translated into English (I have the English translated issues for sale!)

Marketplace / Revival - Homebrew Fanzine (14 Issues)
February 12, 2016, 08:41:58 AM
I have issues 32 - 45 of this fanzine in excellent condition up for sale.

For those who are not aware, Revival is a fanzine devoted totally to homebrew and although produced outside the UK, it has had an English translation.

I have a total of 14 issues here, which cost me a fortune to import I hasten to add!

Looking for £35 to include postage in the UK for the lot, making them £2.43 per issue delivered :)  I will ship them abroad, as long as you are willing to pay the extra postage costs.

Only selling these as a lot, as individual issues are useless to me.

Surprised you did not make a PAL book from your NES bit efforts Keith.  I see your mate never did anything with it either.  Shame that. :(

I think I wore out the tapes for oh mummy and Harrier attack.

My first home computer back in the day, had a green screen monitor with it too.  Simple and fun times.

I'd like to see a proper PAL collectors guide for each console.  I know there are websites out there that do this kind of thing but no website can match the layout options you get with a page, whether it be physical or digital.

Books and mags give the creator so much more artistic freedom, something I feel is lost in websites today.  Oh and a boom will be around for years, whereas websites come and go.

It's more of a timing thing Trek.  Current gen games seem to want you to pump hours into them to get anything out of them.

My gaming time is limited.  I live 90 mins away from my workplace, don't get home till 8pm, then work some more when I get home.  My weekends are usually busy so to get time to play for even just 30 mins is difficult.  Games like Fallout 4, the Witcher 3, GTA V etc I would love to play, just cannot devote the time to them.

Retro gaming on the other hand is on the whole made for quick  pick up and play action, which fits in much better with my available game time.

Sold my PS4 and purchased a MD, Everdrive MD, Pier Solar, the upscaler and a GPD XD for on the road retro gaming :)
