Wow didn't know they had protos of other games going to use the SVP chip
I didn't either. I thought it was quite interesting!
Can understand why they canned it though, basically an under-powered 32X, which in turn was over-shadowered by the forthcoming Saturn!
Would be cool to see any protos in action if someone got hold of one, maybe they didn't get out of planning stages though, VR pushed the chip hard, VF would have been ok, Daytona i have no idea how they thought it be good idea, even on 32X it wasn't possible!
I suppose they figured it was more practical to just have a device like the 32X instead of making chips for each cart. It would be cool to see if any games were actually developed, though.
