Tetris was the game that sold more Gameboys than any other, other hand held consoles had their own popular puzzle games too.
So which one was the best and who is the real puzzle game king?[/align:1z97t4xx]
Simple answer is the one I played the most and lost most hours too....and that was Tetris on the Gameboy.
Klax. I like Tetris but I find Klax to me be more fun, particularly on the Lynx.

I went with Klax in the end too, very hard choice but that game is just so damn impressive.
Klax for me also, i loved it then and still do..Â
Tetris. It was one of the games that sold me on the Game Boy. One seemed created for the other. I've always kept hold of a copy of GB Tetris and will usually have a game of it whenever the GB comes out of the drawer.
without a doubt Tetris..still play this today whenever I can

Yes but do you play the Gameboy version, that is the questionÂ
Yeah I do, it was one of the few puzzle games where you didn't need colour and the music on the Gameboy version was so addictive (or annoying!) btw I later found out there is two versions of Gameboy Tetris, the latter which Europe had first then later America changed to this version had the famous tune everyone remembers.

Yeah I agree, Tetris was the perfect Gameboy game. I actually played it myself the other day and its one of the few games that still really holds up.
That said I would still rather play Tetris on a number of other machines.
Tetris is the king, the game itself sold the console and is one of those few games that people who dont even play games have played.

Probably because it's on just about every system ever made!
Interesting Klax fact though it has more official home conversions than any other arcade game ever!
No love for Connect 4Â
Played bit of Columns on G.C, but never found it all that.
Much more of a Chu Chu Rocket and Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo on GBA, if honest.
Tetris hands down...wish they'd stop trying to jazz it all up and make it cool in today's age though
