Title: Light Gun Games on Modern TV's
Post by: TrekMD on September 01, 2016, 03:15:52 AM
I just saw this, which I thought was interesting.  It is being applied with the NES light gun on the video and other systems.  Looks like one cool solution.

I've never been a huge fan of light gun games but it's a cool idea and good for those who do like them.

I have some that are fun.  I still have my CRT but I guess this is a good alternative to have.

That's awesome, might have to play around and see if there's a way to apply to Saturn and Dreamcast games...

Its a clever idea but the Time Crisis Solution works well enough.

Time Crisis Solution?

It seems like a cool solution. But CRT's (although bulky) are cheap, and quite easy to find. As an avid light gun player, I can't really imagine using anything else than my current CRT TV. And worse than that, would be imagining having to move the darn thing if I threw it away.
