Here at RVG we are always up for new ways to spice up the retro scene so how about a bit of FUN.... We will soon be launching a comp where you could get your creations in a real Atari ST game, your name in the credits and a version of the game dedicated to you.
There will also be another real prize, any book from Fusion Retro Books back catalogue. (more on that soon)
If your interested in taking part please post in this thread and watch out for a full announcement soon with all the finer details.
Very cool to see this in RVG!
Yeah, its a great bit of fun but this really is a gauging interest thread. See how it goes of the next week of so and we will decide the next step. :o
This is something I'd be up for, but how to beat the likes of Alan Tomkins's car sprites would be a task in its own right since they are fantastic, but I'd love to see what ideas people come up with, plus 16 colours to work with is a great test of skills.
A personal thanks to Thomas and Zapiy for bringing this to the table and hopefully we'll see some great stuff happening.
Nice one. If we could get 10 entrants for gfx and maybe half that for the tunes I would be reasonably happy.

Just preparing the technical specifications instructions… :)
Nice one pal..
ANARCHO Ride is reaching out for the horizon… of course it will never make it there… ïŠ
This is one thing that always bugged me: I did not find a solution to project a horizon background without a massive impact on the framerate.
Until NOW!
ANARCHO Ride V1.04 is COMING SOON and it will feature horizon Graphics!!!

To be fair: it is still all done in GFA Basic… so the framerate is in fact affected. But in an OK range. After all there is a hell of a lot more happing on the screen. But having the Chiptunes running while driving, has a much greater effect than the horizon projection.
Still searching for new Ideas and/or collaborators for a new Expansion Pack â€" Ideas/Graphics/Music!
Looks even better now Thomas, thanks for posting this new update and have shared the post on FB for you. Have a good one.
Looks good :)
