Gaming Historian goes over the 2nd handheld console from Sega, the Nomad. Released in 1995, the Nomad was basically a portable Genesis. Learn more about the system itself and why it failed to catch on.

These are some really cool handhelds but you have to plug them in to play a while.  I actually upgraded the screen on mine and it is even better now.  :)

Oh man, I've always wanted a Nomad. I'm starting to sell off some of my collection. Wonder if I can use some of the cash to get one lol

For anyone who has a Sega Nomad, have you replaced its LCD screen?  Check this video as there is a new option available now (if you live in Japan or have contacts in Japan).
