Title: Obscure Computers: The Sharp MZ-700
Post by: TL on May 15, 2012, 18:56:25 PM
This obscure 1983 computer used a 3.58 MHZ Z80 the same as the Spectrum and had 64k of memory but couldn't do proper graphics!

It could only use ASCII style characters, although it did have colour and a 1 channel sound chip!

I came across it some time when I found this video of Space Harrier running on the machine by accident . . . .

You seriously have to watch it and hear to believe it!

And another game in the form of the Namco arcade classic Xevious!
