Incredibly sad.

Atari would have died without him and video game history wouldn't be anywhere near as interesting!

Atari at the time may have dislike Tramiel when he took over Atari in 1984, but he was the visionary behind the Atari St and how it changed the 16 bit computer range in the mid eighties as well as been the first one with a 16-bit computer..before Amiga

he will be sadly missed, but no forgotten.

R.I.P. Jack Tramiel.  Another great name from computer and gaming history gone :(
